"Untitled" is a composition created by a moltitude of pieces drawn in graphite with a variatons on simple geometric elements. Similar to each other as regard the implementation, these elements are at the same time, if taken in detail by a close observation, different from each other, and vaguely explicable, in their being formed by triangles, circles and pentagons, to five figures who occupy the vertices and the center of the composition: a reminder, though quite free, of the Platonic solids. this is what occurs with closer observation. If the same work is watched by a few meters away you see instead how all these figures are attributable to a scheme well beyond their individual realities: through the loss of detail, graphite surfaces with their variously reflective refer to one another and the attention passes from what is represented in every single host at the place that the latter occupies in the composition. Also the choice of this media, far from devoid of symbolic connotations, is not accidental: the host seemed the suitable means, since, as the body of Christ, takes on the characteristics of the two orders, the divine, evoked symbolically from its circular shape and the Earth, through its essence material, that makes it tangible.
