This work, proposed by me for the exposition So-stare at the Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art of Lissone (MB), comes from a reasoning on the subject of the table, one of the many points of reflection treated together in the course of the gathering at the former church of San Carpoforo (Milan), organized by Remo Salvadori. One of the things that struck me most in these discussions, as an element apparently so simple, just as the table itself contains a myriad of possible interpretations, linked to practical use, the myth, the personal memories. Continuing the analysis on the topic I have come to a reinterpretation of this figure, synthesizing visually in its essence of a surface, and from the conceptual point of view, in a plan of potential events. Such situations are made possible mainly thanks to relate to each other in different and even opposing views, symbolized in my work by the two figures at the ends of the composition, which, through mutual openness to dialogue and confrontation, they find a way to put in act a world of possible developments.
